Responsibilities:

- Leading the warehouse and shipment team, including creating safety and work instructions, instructing, and evaluating employees

- Technical and disciplinary management of the logistics department.

- Monitoring and rectifying faults in the warehouse work area, monitoring material flows

- Implementation of new strategies and concepts for warehouse and logistics tasks

- Continuous monitoring and optimisation of processes

- Disposition, notification of requirements, and storage of packaging ma- terial.

- Ensuring picking customer and production orders, packing, and preparing small consignments for dispatch is done in a timely and quality-com- pliant manner.

- Management of internal logisticians including the creation of safety and work instructions, as well as instruction and assessment of employees

- Warehouse activities such as storage, warehouse maintenance, allocation of storage locations-

- Responsible for internal and operational logistics processes

- Advancing continual improvement of processes to eliminate disruptions.

- Overseeing international customs clearance for incoming and outgoing goods

- Deep understanding of mechanical/home appliances/automotive/electronics manufacturing processes, quality control and compliance with ISO 9001 including the auditing process

- 7 years+ experience in production management, leadership in production and business management in amid-size manufacturing enterprise

- Experience of ramping-up and/or running production and logistics activities

- Sound understanding of logistics business and processes, as well as re- lated administrative procedures.

- Affinity for designing and improving international planning and supply chain activities, experience in establishing new sourcing opportunities.

- Strong leadership, guidance, and communication skills, especially decision making, planning, organisation, coordination, and implementation.

- Willingness to travel overseas.
 

Requirements:

- Proficient in English and Vietnamese; basic knowledge of German beneficial

- Monitoring and carrying out and checking incoming goods (unpacking, checking delivery bills, checking customs documents), posting goods receipts in the ERP system.

- Monitoring and execution of customs and export, import processes.

- Carrying out the shipment (packing, checking the shipping documents, creating shipping orders and posting lists, preparing for collection, shipment tracking via the Internet)

- Negotiation of conditions with forwarding agents, express and parcel services within a specified framework

- Monitoring and rectifying faults in the shipping area
 

- Proficient written and spoken English

- Several years of professional experience in the field of logistics, especially in warehouse logistics

- Experience in leading teams.

- Excellent IT skills, particularly ERP systems.

- Sound knowledge of import and export processes
