JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:​

  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for rotating equipment to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment lifespan. This includes conducting routine inspections, lubrication tasks, and component replacements according to maintenance schedules and manufacturer recommendations.

  • Condition Monitoring: Implement condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis to assess the health and performance of rotating machinery. Interpret monitoring data to identify early signs of equipment degradation or failure and initiate timely corrective actions.

  • Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Investigate equipment failures, malfunctions, and performance issues to determine root causes and develop effective solutions. Utilize diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and engineering expertise to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational problems affecting rotating equipment.

  • Repair and Overhaul: Coordinate repair and overhaul activities for rotating machinery, including disassembly, inspection, repair/replacement of components, and reassembly. Ensure that repairs are performed in accordance with safety standards, quality requirements, and equipment specifications to restore functionality and reliability.

  • Reliability Improvement: Identify opportunities for reliability improvement and performance optimization of rotating equipment through upgrades, modifications, and process enhancements. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement design changes and technological innovations that enhance equipment reliability and efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • Extensive knowledge of rotating equipment design principles, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and mechanical dynamics

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Prior experience in rotating equipment design, maintenance, or operations within industrial sectors such as oil & gas, power generation, or manufacturing is advantageous.
