Responsibilities:
Involve in new product development, work with Engineering and Technical team to conduct design and process maturity study, define product quality requirements and manufacturing control plan.
• Develop metrology on new product, conduct supply chain spec alignment, correlation activities.
• Drive Failure analysis, corrective action implementation plan, and yield bridge to mass production. Influence designs so that they are manufacturable.
• Review supplier’s quality control flow, in-process quality control system, in-coming components and out-going product’s quality control plan
• Collaborate with multiple function teams, Engineering, Operations, and Quality within company as well as various suppliers during the new products builds at OEM supplier and final assemble sites.
Key deliverables will include:
• Review Engineering Drawing and provide feedback/proposal to PD
• Develop metrology (MTD) for parts measurement
• Design gauges and measurement fixtures, and drive their qualifications
• Conduct Measurement System Analysis to manage the measurement errors
• Drive FAI/Cpk data collection, verify the data integrity and work with PD on disposition
