RESPONSIBILITIES
Purchasing                                                

  • Oversees and provides leadership and guidance on all purchasing related activities, supplier management, contracts management and strategic sourcing projects.

  • Develop and implement structured supplier performance reviews and key performance indicators, evaluation and continuous improvement, total productivity cost improvement effort.

  • Develop a harmonization strategy for leverage scale and bring more power in negotiation with suppliers.

  • Monitor, perform supply /fraud risk assessment to identify and implement purchasing plan to assure supply continuity to support business growth.                                                

  • Problem solving for any delay, purchasing and stockshop related activities.                                                

  • Participate in establishing company strategy and business plan.

  • Identify and build strategic supplier relationship for the long-term business requirement. 

  • Reduce costs year on year net of inflation and quality investments.

  • Active participation in cross functional teams, HARA teams.

  • KPI set up and review for the subordinates.

  • Periodic performance report of the department.

  • Role model of the highest level of ethical behavior.

  • Coaches and mentors buyers to continuously improve their skills.

  • Ensures that all purchasing policies and procedures are followed.    

  • Perform other duties as directed by Board of Director.

  • Responsible for the performance of the spare part warehouse.     

Authority

  • Responsible for the performance of purchasing team, stock shop (spare part- WH) and have the right to approve PO/ contract.   

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree or Master degree in Purchasing /Supply Chain Management / Business Management / or any related field.

  • Education: bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business or related field.                                                    

  • Have at least 3 years' experience as purchasing manager.

  • High ethical standards and integrity.                                                    

  • Good understanding of the business of the enterprise to which the purchasing & supply function belongs

  • Good working knowledge of English and other foreign languages.           

  • Excellent leadership, organizational and analytical skills.                          

  • Excellent negotiation skills,  proactive , seek information, undertake supply market analysis, propose improvements and have suppliers strategic plan.                                                    

  • Knowledgeable in various procurement/purchasing processes and tools such as ERP, SAP.

  • Knowledge of contracting and commercial law, costing and value analysis techniques. 

  • Knowledge of all relevant operational areas of supply chain including planning, warehouse, logistics and import/export innovation and creativity, persuasion, negotiation  presentation skills, good communication abilities.                                  

  • Good at analyzing  demand patterns to optimize inventory management.            

  • Effective leader in cross-functional project teams.
