  • Our Client, an European player in the energy transition with the strength of a diversified and combinable range of solutions, is looking for a Mechanical Thermal Engineer for their business in Vietnam.  

Overview:
  • This role collaborates closely with a Project Management counterpart, overseeing the design engineering team from order award to equipment acceptance. The Project Engineer ensures adherence to the defined Design Process in the Quality Management System (QMS) of the Energy Sector.

Objectives:
  • The Engineer executes projects with objectives including customer satisfaction, compliance with codes and norms, quality technical documentation, adherence to delivery schedules, cost optimization, monitoring of proposals and estimates, and control of internal and external interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application of the Design Process
  • Coordination of internal and external design teams
  • Financial optimization of coordinated projects
  • Defense of company interests with Customers and Suppliers
  • Preparation of RFQ packages for the Purchase department
  • Technical negotiations with Suppliers
  • Follow-up of supplier engineering
  • Key point of contact for on-site mechanical erection and commissioning advisors
  • Technical risk assessments
  • Application of internal standards and best practices
  • Promotion of quality, efficiency, and productivity
  • Task prioritization
  • Promotion and implementation of continuous improvement
