Would have to lead and oversee all aspects of technical and project management incl. planning/ design/ construction management/ Operations/ Health & Safety of solar rooftop projects to assure on time project completion based on international quality standards. Would have to lead and oversee all aspects of technical and project management incl. planning/ design/ construction management/ Operations/ Health & Safety of solar rooftop projects to assure on time project completion based on international quality standards. The Project Manager role is expected to deliver the following:
- Lead engineering and construction solar PV systems; Act as the key technical and project management lead in overseeing ongoing and upcoming solar projects
- Assist in technical matters for proposals and the bid/ award processes
- Review solar system engineering designs, modelling, and performance data, and provide engineering support throughout the design and construction process.
- Maintain design and proposal requirements, knowledge of codes and standards, design procedures, methods and processes to improve efficiency of project development and project selection
- Review the costs of structural estimates, interconnection, permitting agreements, production estimates, and assessment of commercial risk factors
- Ensure implementation and compliance with technical requirements for each project
- Monitor and audit contractors’ (EPCs/ others) performance with strict compliance to the agreements
- Attend site visits, system commissioning and other tasks as may be required to ensure the successful performance of the PV system
- Help establish, refine and monitor reporting procedures to ensure that ‘up to date’ information is at hand in respect of contract position and financials
- Participate in and review all contractual correspondence, attend meeting schedules with EPC Contractors, service providers and internal teams to oversee delivery requirements to ensure timely decision making and problem solving
- Oversee development of, implementation of, and compliance with, company policies, management plans and manuals from a technical perspective
- Monitor the workplace health and safety performance of the various EPC Contractors and the company acrossthe sitesto ensure standards are met and processes adjusted when appropriate
- Support the team in liaising with counter parties including customers, contractors, Government and community interest groups
- Provide construction delivery inputs for weekly and monthly management reporting
- Maintain working knowledge of current (and proposed) PV industry
Experience:
Must-have:
- 5+ years of successful track record in design, execution and commissioning of solar projects, including few years of rooftop solar experience, in Asia Pacific; 10+ years of total experience
- Experience with PVSystMS Office
- Ability to analyze sites information (SLDs, Load Profile, structural drawings) for initial due diligence
- Experience in dealing with EPCs, solar equipment suppliers
- Working at heights experience and associated risk management
- Fluent in English
Good to have:
- Understanding of local licenses, regulations and feasibility study requirements
- Project Management and Engineering Experience in Vietnam (Utility Scale or C&I)
- Some Vietnamese Language Skills

Compensation: opportunity to make a lot of money and leave a legacy in the sector in Vietnam
- Fixed: Compensation would be at market rates, depending on the candidate profile and experience
