JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

Position: Sales Planning Assistant Manager 

Report to: Deputy CEO  

Working Place: HCMC 

 

JOB SUMMARY: 

Responsible for supporting the sales planning and strategy development for the company products. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize sales performance, forecast accurately, and identify growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the food industry. 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Sales Forecasting 

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop accurate sales forecasts for existing and new noodle products.  

  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and historical data to refine forecasting models and methodologies.  

  • Regularly review and adjust forecasts based on real-time sales data, promotional activities, and market dynamics. 

  1. Sales Strategy Development 

  • Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.  

  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.  

  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies. 

  1. Sales Performance Analysis 

  • Generate and analyze sales reports to evaluate performance against targets and KPIs.  

  • Identify key drivers of sales performance and deviations from forecasts, and provide actionable insights to improve results.  

  • Work closely with finance and accounting teams to reconcile sales data and ensure accuracy. 

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Liaise with supply chain, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment between sales forecasts and production planning.  

  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to launch new products and promotional campaigns effectively.  

  • Serve as a point of contact for sales-related inquiries and support other departments as needed. 

  1. Process Improvement 

  • Continuously evaluate and refine sales planning processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.  

  • Propose and implement initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or related field. 

  • 3+ years of experience in sales planning, sales operations, or business analysis, preferably in the food or consumer packaged goods industry.  

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Salesforce).  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.  

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.  

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
