POSITION SUMMARY
The Chemical Technician is specific responsibility for taking grab samples of the water cycle in the facility, water treatment plant and wastewater and other samples such as fuel oil and coal analysis. The position directly reports to the Chemical Engineer and shall perform the daily analysis of both boilers cycle and periodic tests. The position shall prepare the laboratory required reagents. Ensure that all analysis results and report are well documented and reported to the Chemical Engineer. They are also responsible for the overall safe, reliable, and efficient management of the power plant water chemistry and related issues in accordance with industry standards, environmental restrictions, original equipment manufacturers recommendations, and standard operating procedures as directed by the Chemical Section Head.
