I. POSITION SUMMARY:
• The Production Head will be responsible for managing the production of polyurethane systems, ensuring quality standards, optimizing processes, and leading a team of production personnel. At the same time this role needs to partner with country management, product and commercial teams, global supply chain and operations to implement and drive operational excellence.

II. PRINCIPLE DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Production Management:
• Develop and execute production plans for polyurethane systems to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor production processes, including mixing and dispensing, to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Implement production efficiency improvements and cost-saving measures.
• Ensure excellence in production workflow and maximum performance with minimum delay.

2. Quality Assurance
• Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure polyurethane systems meet technical specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control department to implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.

3. Team Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians.
• Provide training on safety procedures, production techniques, and equipment operation to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production team.

4. Resource Management
• Manage production resources, including raw materials, equipment, and manpower, to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Implement inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce inventory costs.

5. Health Safety, and Environmental Compliance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols among production personnel.

III. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in production management within the polyurethane manufacturing industry, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of polyurethane production processes, equipment, and quality control principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to chemical manufacturing, health, safety, and environmental protection.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable
