ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development, including supplier qualifications, action plan, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards standards of excellence. Collect and report Supplier Quality KPIs.
  • Develop operating rhythms by coordinating with sourcing, supply chain, quality teams, testing and engineering leaders to drive standardization, rigor, and efficiency (including RCAs, part qualifications (PPAP), supplier claims, non-conformances and supplier recovery.
  • Be a lean advocate, actively identify opportunities to simplify or standardize processes and tools within and across individual projects. like Non-Conformance Escapes, Major and Critical Events, overall supplier non-Conformity number, Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and other KPIs.
  • Align with the Supplier Quality Manager for effective management of cross-sites Purchase Orders and Product Qualifications.
  • Supports/ Lead supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety, Environmental Risks and General and Task Management
  • Provide concise, complete and accurate documentation with respect to areas of responsibility.  This refers to supporting requirements defined by regulations, engineering product specifications and/or Control Plans, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) approval or product warrant submission
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues, through Non-conformance system
  • Ensures Corrective and Preventative Action Reports (CPARs) are prepared by supplier, completed with the sufficient level of depth, and actions are monitored through to effective closure.
  • Collate and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the assigned vendors, engineering and supply chain opportunities.
  • Support the Quality Leader to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance
  • Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements
  • Assure supplier compliance to iFIT process and regulatory requirements through supplier monitoring process; develop and utilize supplier scorecards in line with the requirements of the Quality Management system.
  • Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues
  • Participate in kick-off meetings / Pre-Inspection / Documentation review meetings with suppliers.
  • Review and approve supplier quality documentation for First Article Inspections at a minimum; Sourcing, ASL team and Supplier Quality must coordinate to ensure all documents are collected from the supplier.
  • Identify and report any quality concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably engineering) from an accredited university or college,
  • From 3 years’ experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Shop Operations, Materials or Sourcing
Fluent in English and Vietnamese
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to travel to suppliers 50% of the time

PREFERRED:
  • Demonstrated experience with third parties, supplier qualifications, and audits.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical notes, procedures and specifications.
  • Demonstrated skills related to problem-solving, decision-making, judgment, leadership, root-cause analyses, and team collaboration to lead and influence others to drive change.
  • Internal Auditing experience.
  • Root Cause Analysis Incident Investigation Training.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning (APQP), Part approval processes (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
  • Be able to present data effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
