Job Purpose:
  • Reporting to Vietnam Operations Head, this position will focus on overall daily operations and Operations’ capability development in Vietnam – North.
  • This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the warehouse team by directing a diverse in-house and subcontracted workforce to manage the throughput of our customer’s products and creating a safe working environment.
  • The position is also expected to actively develop industry network & domain knowledge to enable market leadership in our operations infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities:
 
1. Customer KPIs
  • Ensure customers KPIs are met for all LOBs – CNS, CLS and TMS.
  • Develop and Drive Vendor Logistics Program (Product and Capabilities)
  • Continuously identify service gaps and implement solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Engage in infrastructure planning, BCP, Sustainability, Digital Transformation projects as required.

2. Operational Excellence
  • Monthly Operations Dashboard - Performance visibility & Analytics
  • Participate Vendor Performance review of service providers, Contracting, and Vendor Strategy.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement Programs (Kaizen). Achieve Cost leadership.
  • Deliver an active Capacity Management Plan (warehouse and trucking) with related stakeholders – Customer Service, KAM and Regional Ops

3. People Leadership
  • Determine organization structure, roles and responsibilities and performance targets for the function
  • Establish a culture of service excellence, flexibility, and cost consciousness
  • Shape L&D, Succession Plans, Policy changes for a Sustainable organization
  • Manage peak/off-peak resource allocation and drive inter-department workflow efficiencies

Requirements:
At least 5 years working experience in the logistics industry and track record in Operations Management (warehousing & distribution)
  • In depth local knowledge about regulatory, regional practices, cultural differences.
  • Track record in engaging large MNC accounts (complex business rules)
  • Data-driven and process-minded leader
  • Able to engage complex supply chain topics; meaningfully engage senior stakeholders and seek solutions in an ambiguous environment.
  • Able to leverage technology or mobilize suitable stakeholders to implement solutions.
  • Cross-functional experience is highly preferred
