MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
- Under general direction, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies for key accounts.
- Plays a lead role in driving a cross-regional sales team and internal employees to penetrate key accounts and aggressively expand relationships.
- Gathers detailed information about accounts, identifies decision-makers, understands strategic business challenges and priorities, and leads team in analyzing information and prioritizing opportunities critical to accounts.
- Ensures professional sales coordination and account planning and resolves possible account ownership issues.
- Responsible for proposals, account or market plans, and forecast/report sales activity.
- May lead sales teams consisting of both direct and indirect reports.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Planning and Execution
- Develop weekly, monthly and quarterly Sales Plans based on assigned territory/ customer and company strategy.
- Manage customers in assigned territory with available resources to maximize customer facing time and sales effectiveness.
- Build an efficient plan to increase sales revenue and market shares.
- Manage debt in assigned territory.
- Frequently review Sales Reports and ensure sales target achievement.
Trade Program Management
- Allocate, provide guidance to SR, PG, and ensure Trade and Consumer Promotion Program are efficiently implemented.
- Optimize resources and abilities to drive sales.
Account Management
- Research, analysis and assess customers to reinforce existing customers and attract potential clients in the market; ensure reasonable resources allocation.
- Build good relationships with strategic partners and manage customers' business performance / financial indicators to prepare an appropriate plan.
- Understand customer needs to provide solutions for related sales activities, implementation in the market.
- Establish and propose innovative programs and services to maximize customer needs, and accelerate the engagement and loyalty with Company.
POP Excellence Execution
- Keep track of the inventory; to build a strategy to push sales and coverage as target.
- Guide, assess and support in implementation of product display.
- Coordinate with related departments & PG to implement promotions, manage price list & consult consumers.
Manage Compliance / MT Fundamental
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- In charge of Interviewing, Selection, and Orientation for new hires.
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching to direct reports.
- Conduct field training for SS to improve capacity and sales results
- Play a key role in PDP process.
- Responsible for developing a talent pipeline for respective sub-function.
MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Work Experience: Minimum Relevant Experience: Minimum 4 years
Education: University (Associates Degree (± 13 years))
