We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team, working on international business initiatives that impact millions of users globally at one of the largest fintech companies in the world. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality data solutions that support decision-making and innovative financial services.Key Responsibilities:

Implement the RnD of data solutions related to international products and services.

Apply data technology to perform statistical analysis, modeling, feature engineering, and data labeling to support business initiatives.

Build high-quality, reusable, and scalable data assets across the business product lifecycle and collaborate with other business departments and engineering teams to enable data-driven business decisions.

Design data solutions that comply with privacy and data security regulations, ensuring secure and efficient data flow in all business scenarios.

Break down complex business requirements into structured and actionable data models and workflows.
Requirements:

2+ years of experience in big data development and implementation

Strong knowledge of data modeling methodologies, including decomposition of business needs into logical data themes, models, and workflows.

Hands-on experience with offline big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MaxCompute, including the ability to optimize performance based on a deep understanding of underlying architectures.

Familiar with OLAP engines (e.g., ClickHouse, Presto, Hologres) and key concepts such as distributed databases, columnar storage, and indexing.

Experience with real-time computing platforms like Flink, Spark Streaming, or Storm, with a solid understanding of transactional consistency, fault tolerance, and system reliability in streaming systems.

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Basic knowledge of data quality, governance, and compliance, with the ability to propose scalable governance solutions tailored to business challenges.

Strong passion for big data, with excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-have:

Understanding of credit risk concepts such as risk assessment, default prediction, and scoring models. Experience in international credit businesses is a plus.
