About the Role:
  • Our Client, a multinational company specializing in plastic injection molding manufacturing, is looking for Deputy Production Manager working in Vietnam site. 
Responsibilities:
  • Production management: Oversee, organize, and manage staff to ensure the production process meets schedules, productivity targets, quality standards, safety regulations, and internal rules.
  • Production targets: Ensure production plans are met or exceeded as per company objectives.
  • Material formulation: Develop and apply color mixing formulas for plastic materials, including PP, HIPS, ABS, and PC.
  • Equipment maintenance: Establish and implement periodic maintenance procedures for all machinery and equipment to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Material planning: Manage monthly raw material plans to align with production schedules.
  • Quality control: Build and monitor quality control systems for both incoming and outgoing products, ensuring adherence to company and industry standards.
  • QA/QC supervision: Directly manage the entire QA/QC department, ensuring high-quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular management reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to the Board of Directors for informed decision-making.
  • Compliance and efficiency: Implement and manage effective factory management systems, such as ISO 9001, 5S, and other industry standards to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Leadership: Perform additional tasks as directed by company leadership to support overall production objectives.
Requirements:
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar position (deputy manager level or higher).
  • Must have experience in the plastics manufacturing industry, specifically in plastic pellet production (PP, HIPS, ABS, PC).
  • Fluent in English (mandatory). Chinese language skills are an advantage.
  • Age: 35-45 years old.
  • Friendly, easy-going, detail-oriented, and meticulous in work.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in creating plastic color mixing formulas.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage production teams and ensure operational excellence in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in setting up and overseeing QA/QC processes.
  • Strong ability to prepare and analyze management reports.
  • Familiarity with factory management systems such as ISO 9001, 5S, or similar.
