The Chief Content Officer (CCO) will be a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and business growth. This role will oversee two critical departments: PR & Marketing and Shows & Events, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand narrative across all platforms and experiences. The CCO will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of creating compelling content, building high-performing teams, and delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Vision:
  • Develop and implement a holistic content strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Define the brand's voice and messaging, ensuring consistency across all content and channels.
  • Identify emerging content trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging and informative content across various formats (e.g., written, visual, video, experiential).
  • Leadership & Management:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the PR & Marketing and Shows & Events teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting growth and innovation.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • PR & Marketing:
  • Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance brand reputation and media relations.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, traditional).
  • Manage brand partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Analyze marketing data to optimize performance and ROI.
  • Shows & Events:
  • Conceptualize and execute engaging shows, events, and experiences that align with the brand.
  • Manage all aspects of event planning and production, including logistics, budgeting, and promotion.
  • Ensure events deliver a positive brand experience and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Explore innovative event formats and technologies.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Product Development) to ensure content aligns with business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Present content strategy and performance to senior management.
  • Measurement & Analysis:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure content effectiveness.
  • Analyze data and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports on content performance and ROI.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (Master's preferred).
    • 10+ years of experience in content creation, marketing, PR, or event management, with significant leadership experience.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content management systems.
