Job Description
The incumbent will be part of Vietnam Finance & Corporate Services, focusing on the following:
Responsibilities
Performance Management
- Manage the Performance Management team
- Support the bank on performance measurement and analysis of financial results in an accurate/ timely manner
- Setup of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), scenario assessment and performance ratios
- Track/ manage financial budget and forecast cycles
- Cost management support, including optimisation, governance and return on investments
- Analysis on drivers of business profitability
- Monitor cost pools, allocation methodology and cost drivers
- Prepare presentation and communication to internal/ external stakeholders
Capital Management
- Monitor and review bank capital levels
- Maintain capital policies, and prepare capital dashboard/forecast on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- Manage the bank’s stress test exercises on the profit and capital positions and/or capital templates
- Manage ad-hoc projects on restructuring and capital-related transactions
- Stay abreast of regulatory, legal or accounting changes to provide inputs on capital plans and initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Business or Accounting with more than 10 years relevant work experience in a financial institution
- Good understanding of bank’s capital structure and regulatory requirement on Cir 13
- Essential to have strong analytical and communication skills, along with an ability to work with senior stakeholders against tight deadlines
- Strong influencing and good people management skills
- Strong MIS reporting skills with advanced knowledge in excel, access and powerpoint
