JOB AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formulate and carry out strategic procurement and contracts management supports for all projects.
- Review cost assumptions for new projects.
- Provide assistance and guidance to other departments on their procurement activities and to monitor for compliance with the Group’s procurement policies and procedures.
- Handle enlarged role of supporting Risk Management in screening, strengthening contracts & procurement practices and SOPs for projects.
- To be attached to project companies (for short durations) that requires contract management supports.
- Review project’s Procurement and Contracts Management Policies and Processes to ensure compliance with the Group’s policies.
- Review project procurement strategy and monitor its execution.
- Oversee project’s QS procurement and contracts management works.
- Review independently on the contract procurement process i.e., review SOP for check-and-balance mechanism, key procurement packages for projects etc.
- Degree in Building or Quantity Surveying or its equivalent with minimally 12 years’ working experience in similar capacity.
- Relevant experience in preparation of Tenders for Building, Civil & Infrastructure, interior design projects & commercial projects.
- Familiar with Contract, Law, and local legal requirement and good Contractual and Pricing knowledge in Vietnam will be an advantage.
- Professional qualification from recognized Quantity Surveying professional bodies would be advantageous
- Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to travel and be seconded overseas when business need arises.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
