KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

· Work closely with Head quater offices to establishing confidential trust on sample quality

assurance.

· Establish a strong working relationship with all internal Merchandising Units with other

department concern to ensure that we have visibility and ability on all sample quality

assurance issue.

· Offer expertise in solving pattern, fitting, sewing, workmanship problems and provides

technical advice and improvement suggestions to resolve sample quality problem.

· Provide information, when requested, to optimize efficiencies regarding all sample quality

improvement issues.

· Ensure that proper controlling is in place on Fit Technician Teams.

· Ensure that a proper Data base is kept regionally which identifies problematic factory and

monitor the proper action has been taken for improvement.

· Ensure that all customer expectations are understood and achieved regionally from

sampling.

· Evaluate and implement major process re-engineering projects, such as sample room quality assurance system and the computer pattern file conversion record with our key vendors.

· Ensure that all factories are following our SOP’s and “Right First Time” attitude.

· Build a training and development plan, including ‘Basic block pattern’, for all members of

the Fit Technician Team.

· Conduct training and carry out frequent factory visit to upgrade their sample-room in

sample technical manufacturing knowledge skill if needed.

 

 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

· Degree or Certificate in Apparel manufacturing, Fashion/Clothing Studies, or equivalent.

· At least 15 years in Tech Design, or Textile and Apparel experience

· Experience in pattern making, grading, sewing, construction, for multiple product categories.

· Fitting knowledge is a must.

· Understand quality requirements of different retail customers.

· Good understanding of fabric and trims, and related testing requirements.

· Production quality assurance knowledge.

· Proven organizational skills and ability manage competing priorities.

· Can handle CAD systems for general pattern adjustment, functional outerwear experience is necessary

· Good command of English language (written and spoken).

· Knowledge of 3D programs a plus.

· Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer pattern programs, PLM, Adobe Illustrator, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word
