POSITION TITLE: Turbine Leader
REPORTS TO: Turbine Manager
DURATION: During O&M Period
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the maintenance of the mechanical parts of the Turbine and BOP system and devices, promoting safe, environmentally friendly, and effective maintenance practices within the turbine and BOP system. Assist in other areas of the plant as assigned.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Promote and enforce safe, environmentally friendly, and workmanlike maintenance practices within the section and supervised contractors.
Ensure consistent improvement of turbine and BOP system, and maintenance across the plant systems, guaranteeing continuous improvement of plant reliability and availability.
Promote team development and training. Develop required procedures to ensure the established maintenance strategy is known and implemented. Provide leadership and job coordination on critical projects.
Assist in high-level maintenance planning and budgeting, assuming co-responsibility for approved plan and budget.
Perform other comparable and related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Mechanical Bachelor Engineering Degree required.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in power plant maintenance or equivalent industrial environment in which supervising role, including mechanical equipment and maintenance work planning exposure; 3 years of which must be in the management role.
Available to work overtime including weekends if required.
Familiar with P&ID drawing, Visual inspection, and periodic maintenance for Mechanical facilities such as turbine, turbine auxiliary, BOP systems, etc.
Ability to conduct Planning and problem analysis regarding the mechanical part of the turbine, turbine auxiliary, and BOP system of Supercritical coal power plants.
Ability to Interpret Mechanical drawing, Hydraulic drawing, Vibration trends, and the result of diagnosis of mechanical troubles.
Prefer a certificate of completion in mechanical theory, hydraulic control mechanism, coal combustion theory, and thermal dynamic theory.
Prefer a certificate of completion for the training course on the routine or preventive maintenance work of turbine, turbine auxiliary, BOP system of Supercritical coal power plant.
A certificate of completion for training courses on the structure and basic principle of turbine system and BOP system.
Possess business-level communication skills in English (written and verbal) and be computer literate. Able to communicate/discuss any topic in the business environment.
