On November 6th 2019, ManpowerGroup Vietnam representative joined as a guest speaker in “2019 AAPBS Annual Conference” organized by Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) and French Vietnamese Center of Management (CFVG) in Vietnam. The Conference attracted 70 professors and lecturers from Asian-Pacific business schools and local enterprises.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Huong, Country HR Manager shared about the impact of digital age on the future world of work, and the fast development of technology has made the skills cycles shorter. Ms. Huong emphasized that the global 4th Industrial Revolution will rapidly change the future of work. She also shared the findings of ManpowerGroup's "Talent Shortage Survey 2018" showing that the talent shortage is taking place globally in general and in Vietnam in particular. In this context, the learnability is the decisive factor for the success of individuals. Besides, companies need to focus on employees training and development because this is the hot trend across the world. According to ManpowerGroup's "Skills Revolution 4.0 - Robots Need You" research, by 2020 the percentage of companies that plan for internal talent development will be 84% compared to only 21% in 2011.
