Country Manager of ManpowerGroup Vietnam, Thailand & Middle East meeting with Deputy Minister of MOLISA

​On 19th November, Mr. Simon Matthews - Country Manager, ManpowerGroup Vietnam, Thailand & Middle East paid a courtesy visit to Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) and had a cordial meeting with Mr. Le Van Thanh - Deputy Minister of MOLISA at the Ministry's Head Office.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh highly appreciated the support and cooperation activities of ManpowerGroup in Vietnam over the past 11 years. Deputy Minister also emphasized the role of ManpowerGroup in the development of Vietnam's labor market in the near future, especially in training and upskilling Vietnamese workers during this 4th Industrial Revolution and international integration. Deputy Minister expressed his wish that ManpowerGroup with more than 70 years of experience in 80 countries around the globe can strengthen the connection between vocational training institutions, employment service centers and businesses, helping workers in their journey to sustainable work in the digital age.

Responded to Deputy Minister's warm welcome, Mr. Simon Matthews addressed ManpowerGroup's upcoming initiatives to enhance the quality of Vietnamese workforce, focusing on upskilling the vulnerable including unskilled labor, women and children. Highly appreciated these ideas, Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh congratulated the development of ManpowerGroup Vietnam over the past years and hoped that the cooperation between MOLISA and ManpowerGroup would develop to a new level for the future of Vietnamese labor.
