On June 29 in Hai Phong, Ms. Le Thi Kim - Head of Staffing and Outsourcing Services, North Vietnam attended the Consultation Workshop: Deploying International Commitments to Prevent, Eradicate Child Labor & Developing Handbook. The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and the International Labor Organization (ILO).

Speaking to 50 delegates from many governmental agencies and local businesses, Ms. Kim shared about ManpowerGroup's global commitment to transparency in the implementation of labor services, especially for vulnerable individuals such as children. Attending the seminar were leading labor experts to discuss solutions on the journey to promote implementation of international commitments on child labor in Vietnam, especially in the context of international integration.

At ManpowerGroup, we do not employ any workers who are considered children or under the working age (under 15 in Vietnam). At the same time we have standard procedures for verifying age and eligibility to work. For over 70 years, we have always believed that meaningful and sustainable employment has the power to change the world. Together with the four UN Sustainable Development Goals, we are proud to be a pioneer in the HR field to connect millions of people around the world to sustainable jobs and help them get ready for the future of work.
