Currently, local manufacturing firms, especially in Southern provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An..., are struggling with labour shortage due to the fourth wave of Covid-19 pandemic. According to Tuoi Tre newspaper: “The prolonged lockdown caused a series of factories to close or operate moderately with roughly 30-50% of employees. In Ho Chi Minh City, according to incomplete statistics, tens thousands of workers have settled down in their hometown and more than 10,000 others are infected with Covid-19, which would burden factories to restart after the pandemic.” Therefore, businesses need possible solutions to get workers back to work and recruit new employees to resume production.
