ManpowerGroup Vietnam cooperates with Ton Duc Thang University to help students upskill, reskill and stay relevant to the local labor market

Doing Well by Doing Good is what we aim to achieve at ManpowerGroup by helping the workforce reskill, upskill and stay relevant. For this, ManpowerGroup Vietnam has implemented many career orientations, upskilling and training programs for students at many universities and colleges across Vietnam. Following the mission of Doing Well by Doing Good, ManpowerGroup Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ton Duc Thang University on July 16, 2020 in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the MOU, ManpowerGroup Vietnam and Ton Duc Thang University will coordinate in the implementation of career orientation programs, soft skills training, providing the university’s students with internship and job opportunities as well as scholarships for excellent students with economic difficulties.

Specifically, the university’s students will be offered job opportunities with ManpowerGroup Vietnam's clients and attend on the job training programs. Selected students will be also offered internships with ManpowerGroup Vietnam or the company’s clients.

The MOU between ManpowerGroup Vietnam and Ton Duc Thang University will be valid for two years.

At the signing ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Huong, Country HR Manager at ManpowerGroup Vietnam shared: “As part of ManpowerGroup, a global workforce solutions company with a history of more than 70 years, ManpowerGroup Vietnam hopes that this cooperation will provide

support to the career orientation and development of Ton Duc Thang University’s students, contributing to creating future local talent for the sustainable development of Vietnam.”​
