Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Management:
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand forecasts, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Monitor production processes and ensure they run smoothly, adjusting schedules as necessary.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure materials are available as needed.
- Lead and supervise the production team, providing guidance, training, and support to staff.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews for production team members.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Manage production costs to ensure production processes are cost-effective.
- Monitor and control waste, material usage, and energy consumption.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce downtime.
- Drive lean manufacturing practices to minimize waste and improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, documenting progress, challenges, and improvements.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on production performance and KPIs.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all production activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years-experienced in Production and 5 years of experience in Supervisory Level
- Plastic manufacturing industry and/or used to work with Japanese Management will be an advantage
- Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and quality control systems.
- Experience managing and leading production teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Good command of English in written and spoken
- Able to start immediately will be a plus
