Our client is looking for a Business Development to cover the North area of Vietnam in the field of renewable and sustainable energy solutions including Solar energy solutions; Microgrids in industrial parks; Cooling and heating systems for business districts and residential townships; Electric vehicle fast charging;
The company owns and operates electricity and gas transmission and distribution businesses in Singapore and Australia, and sustainable energy solutions in Singapore, China, Vietnam, and Thailand.
Main duties/responsibilities:
- Develop industry specific approach.
- Implement go-to market plan for the country, including key customer segments to address optimal direct vs-channel partner mix as well as products/solutions.
Propose and implement business strategies for various C&I projects - Drive the origination, prioritization and securing green field & brown filed opportunities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders in ensuring seamless delivery of solution to customers.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with regulators and government departments in Vietnam.
- Drive results by executing relentlessly and troubleshooting issues proactively Product/Solution:
- Work with Head Quarter to define appropriate products/solution to customers.
- Develop industry specific approach.
- Implement go-to market plan for the country, including key customer segments to address optimal direct vs-channel partner mix as well as products/solutions Investment/M&A/Partnership:
- Conduct origination, analysis, due diligence and monitoring of investment.
- Identify relevant partner to deliver the organization special business solutions.
- Design new BD process to amend critical internal issues in order to ensure smooth delivery to clients.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, stay ahead of industry trends, and develop comprehensive business plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Build the marketing plan and supervise the implementation
- Project Monitoring & Sales Reporting
- Assist the Head of Business Development team in reporting project pipelines and evaluating project development performance.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including business development, operations, and transaction teams, to monitor project progress effectively.
- Establish deadlines, delegated responsibilities, and monitored project progress closely.
- Tender Administration & Document Management:
- Prepare and managing technical and pricing materials for tenders, ensuring compliance with tender requirements by coordinating with involved business units and technical teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the quality and format of tenders/quotations met requirements.
- Maintain data integrity in databases and tools supporting the tender process, including SharePoint, and provided administrative support for all tender-related correspondence.
- Sales Force Effectiveness
- Work closely with the Head of Business Development to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales force activities and monitor progress accordingly.
- Oversee reporting and performance management for business managers.
- Through these responsibilities, contributed to the efficiency and success of business development efforts across multiple units within the organization.
