Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for formulating and executing the overall financial strategy of Dongsung Chemical. This includes overseeing accounting, treasury, tax, risk management, investor relations, and ESG financial initiatives. The CFO will play a critical role in supporting growth strategies in global markets and enhancing financial efficiency within the manufacturing sector by working closely with the executive leadership team.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s mid- to long-term financial strategies, budgets, and performance analyses.

Analyze manufacturing costs and develop profit improvement strategies, including CAPEX planning and investment evaluation.

Manage accounting operations and ensure compliance with Korean and international financial reporting standards (K-IFRS/IFRS).

Oversee tax planning and compliance, minimizing risks and optimizing tax efficiencies.

Lead cash flow management, capital funding, and relationships with financial institutions and investors.

Supervise risk management processes, internal controls, and audit coordination.

Oversee financial reporting and consolidation of domestic and international subsidiaries.

Support mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic financial projects.

Drive ESG-related financial reporting and support sustainable management initiatives.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

Minimum 10 years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or chemical industries.

In-depth knowledge of K-IFRS and international accounting standards with hands-on experience.

Strong expertise in cost accounting, capital investment analysis, and financial planning.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing finance and accounting teams.

Fluent in Korean and business-level English communication skills.
Preferred Experience

Experience working in listed companies or companies preparing for IPO.

Background in working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and BI tools.

Familiarity with ESG financial metrics and reporting frameworks.

Experience with external audit firms (Big 4) or financial institutions.

Hands-on experience in capital markets, M&A, or project financing.
