Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing method statements, shop drawings and material submittals.
  • Managing ICK’s Construction Management Team and the Construction Management Consultancy on site.
  • Overseeing safety, quality and schedule on site.
  • Ensuring ITPs and quality plans and procedures are adhered to.
  • Reviewing method statements to ensure they are acceptable in terms of quality, safety and practicality.
  • Monitoring the contractors schedules, manpower and progress and ensuring that they match the approved master schedule.
  • Assisting with Tender process and reviewing main contractors proposed method statements
  • Initiating and managing Value Engineering process as required.
  • Compiling the level 3 Master schedule with the project manager
  • Defining and monitoring the project’s critical path activities
  • Reporting on critical milestones and critical issues. 
  • Runs construction management meetings.
  • Checking BOQs, contracts, RFPs IPCs and other contract documentation
  • Coordinating with the operator.
  • Managing OSE Project Management Consultancy
  • Issues (NCRs), Site instructions etc.
  • Signing off IPCs, Vos etc.
  • Resolve problems and coordination issues.
  • Tracking local authority approvals and coordinating with the local authorities and DOC.
  • Ensuring Electronic Document management system is being implemented and coordinating with project controls team.
  • Managing OSE and FFE project management team and ensuring time/cost/quality targets are met.
  • Assisting with design coordination and resolution of RFIs 

Qualifications & Experience:
 
Education Required
  • University Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Fluent in English.

Required Skills/Experience
  • At least ten (10) years of continuous experience in the construction industry, with exposure to Hotel and high rise 
  • Has been directly involved from the start until completion of the construction of hospitality, residential, commercial development projects as project manager, or construction manager.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Computer, MS Office, MS Project and some experience with Autocad software.
  • Experience with Acconex, Asite, Conject or any similar Project Management system is preferred.
  • Must be familiar with all FIDIC Contract Documents, Mail/ Correspondence Types and Project Management Forms.
  • Project Management and Construction Supervision License
  • Knowledge of key hotel systems (IT system, PMS, Key MEP systems etc.) preferred

Other requirements: Role is Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm but must be able to work for extended hours of the night and even during Saturdays and Sundays as required by the Project.
