JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise contractor’s piping, structure, and construction activities, ensuring compliance with schedules, safety, and quality standards.

  • Ensure proper sequencing between pre-fabrication, fabrication, construction, and installation.

  • Monitor and witness construction activities (including piping, structure, HVAC fabrication, erection, and installation) both onshore and offshore, ensuring adherence to procedures and HSE requirements.

  • Provide data input for daily progress reports.

  • Participate in JSA meetings and review/approve Permit to Work for heavy lift activities, working closely with HSE/QC.

  • Support QC team in dimensional control during assembly and erection of critical items, reviewing dimensional reports.

  • Ensure work complies with MURRPHY values, policies, standards, and relevant regulations.

  • Review and monitor the availability of drawings, specifications, materials, and tools.

  • Monitor contractor’s work plans and report construction progress to Construction Manager/Platform Delivery Manager.

  • Verify and coordinate piping and structure prefabrication.

  • Ensure contractor personnel have proper training and experience for safe operations.

  • Identify and follow up on Non-conformance Reports (NCRs) related to fabrication.

  • Oversee manufacturing record books and coordinate with the commissioning team during the pre-commissioning phase.

​REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s or BS/HND/BTS degree in a technical field or extensive experience in the natural gas/oil industry.

  • 15 years of professional experience, with 10 years in project management.

  • Strong knowledge of construction, contractor inspection procedures, and work sequences for Jacket & Topside – Offshore Platforms.

  • Familiarity with structure and piping drawings.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multicultural environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate personnel and contractors.

  • Excellent communication, supervision, and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency in computer programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and email communication.
