our client is a rapidly expanding retail company with a current footprint of 3500 stores and ambitious plans to reach 10,000 stores in the near future. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our leadership team. The COO will report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and digital transformation across our retail operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Leadership:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects.
    • Strategically scale operations to accommodate the company's growth from 3500 to 10,000 stores.
  2. Digital Transformation:

    • Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance the customer experience and optimize internal processes.
    • Implement innovative retail technologies to improve employee performance management.
  3. Technology Integration:

    • Apply new technologies and digital solutions to create seamless digital live experiences for customers and employees.
    • Stay abreast of retail technologies that enhance customer experience and contribute to the company's competitive edge.
  4. Retail Strategy:

    • Analyze and understand retail consumer behavior to shape and adapt the company's retail strategy.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to define the future of retail supply chains and logistics.
  5. Performance Management:

    • Utilize technology for effective employee performance management, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
    • Implement data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  1. Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  2. Experience:

    • Proven track record in overseeing the operation of more than 5000 stores.
    • Significant experience in driving digital transformation and technology integration in a retail environment.
  3. Location Preference:

    • Preferred locations include Thailand, Hong Kong, China, or Taiwan.
  4. Leadership and Communication:

    • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
    • Proven experience in managing and leading large teams.
  5. Digital Expertise:

    • In-depth knowledge of the latest retail technologies and trends.
    • Experience in implementing digital solutions to improve customer and employee experiences.
