Job description:
- Support the Board of Directors to promote the investment opportunities of energy project development in Vietnam.
- Conduct commercial assessments of investment opportunities and transactions to assist Management in developing strategic plans and making investment decisions, including but not limited to strategy, structuring, due diligence, project management.
- Market research and analysis of companies in the same industry, updating industry developments, business and investment opportunities as well as laws and regulations.
- Have an understanding of the local investment and financial market, work with the Head Office of the partners to refine/modify the financial structure and offer solutions suitable to the company.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate solutions are delivered;
- Initiate opportunities of investment in the development of solar and wind power and LNG projects including both new and developed projects.
- Consulting on investment and mergers and acquisitions, mastering skills in the investment field, especially for Energy projects
- Transaction planning and management; accountability; transaction structure and negotiations with foreign partners.
- Qualification: University or higher with related majors. Preferred candidates graduated from foreign universities.
- ACCA, CPA or CFA certifications are preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience working in the fields of corporate finance (mobilizing capital for businesses/projects) or working at commercial banks or international banks directly related to corporate lending or have experience in managing loan/disbursement transactions with foreign partners.
- Good analytical skills with commercial and financial acumen, who have a good grasp of financial indicators; Able to build project financial models/corporate financial models.
- Able to work independently and in groups in a fast-paced environment;
- Dynamic, resourceful and focused on achieving work results
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
