JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise contractor’s mechanical (rotating equipment, pumps, cranes) and other construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
Oversee pre-fabrication, fabrication, construction, and installation processes, ensuring adherence to procedures and HSE standards onshore and offshore.
Provide daily progress reports and monitor construction activities to ensure contractor’s compliance with schedules and specifications.
Participate in JSA meetings and review/approve Permits to Work for heavy lift activities, in coordination with HSE/QC.
Ensure compliance with MURRPHY values, policies, and industry standards.
Monitor availability of drawings, specifications, materials, and tools.
Review contractor’s daily and weekly work plans and report progress to the Construction Manager/Platform Delivery Manager.
Ensure contractor personnel are properly trained and experienced for safe operations.
Address and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to fabrication.
Oversee manufacturing record books and coordinate with the commissioning team during pre-commissioning.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate’s or BS/HND/BTS degree in a technical field, or extensive experience in the natural gas/oil industry.
15 years of professional experience, with 10 years in project management.
Strong knowledge of construction, contractor inspection procedures, and work sequences for Jacket & Topside – Offshore Platforms.
Familiar with vendor packages and piping drawings.
Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative, and multicultural environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate personnel and contractors.
Excellent supervision and communication skills.
Proficient in computer programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and email communication.
