JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise contractor’s piping, deck layout, and other construction activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety, and quality standards.
Oversee pre-fabrication, fabrication, construction, and installation, ensuring compliance with procedures and HSE requirements.
Provide daily progress reports and monitor contractor activities onshore and offshore.
Participate in JSA meetings and review/approve Permits to Work for heavy lift activities, in coordination with HSE/QC.
Ensure compliance with MURRPHY values, policies, and industry standards.
Monitor availability of drawings, specifications, materials, and tools.
Review and track contractor’s work plans in alignment with the overall schedule.
Report construction progress to the Construction Manager/Platform Delivery Manager.
Verify and coordinate piping and structure prefabrication.
Ensure contractor personnel are trained for safe operations.
Address and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to fabrication.
Oversee manufacturing record books and coordinate with the commissioning team during pre-commissioning.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate’s or BS/HND/BTS degree in a technical field, or extensive experience in the natural gas/oil industry.
15 years of professional experience, with 10 years in project management.
Strong knowledge of construction, contractor inspection procedures, and work sequences for Jacket & Topside – Offshore Platforms.
Familiarity with structure and piping drawings.
Proven ability to work in a collaborative, multicultural team environment.
Strong leadership, supervision, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate personnel and contractors.
Proficiency in computer programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and email communication.
