We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Solution Architect to enable secure business transformation by designing protective solutions and enforcing security policies. This role focuses on safeguarding business value by identifying and mitigating security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities through robust architectural design.

As a security expert, you will develop core security principles, conceptual models, and logical controls to ensure solutions are designed within established risk parameters. You will consult with business and technical teams to address critical security concerns and influence stakeholders to incorporate security requirements throughout solution development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide security architecture expertise and thought leadership to business and project teams

  • Analyze system flows and proposed solutions to identify risks, threats, and vulnerabilities

  • Design and deliver conceptual/logical security architectures with appropriate controls

  • Develop security patterns for identity/access, data protection, SIEM, communications, and vulnerability management

  • Guide significant architectural decisions to ensure secure outcomes and proper governance

  • Manage risk posture and assurance requirements during solution design

  • Mentor team members in security concepts, risk management, and industry standards

Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • At least 10+ years in Technology with 2+ years in Cyber Security Architecture

  • At least 5+ years in Solution Architecture with significant security experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in security architecture frameworks and methodologies

  • Deep understanding of security domains (IAM, data protection, SIEM, etc.)

  • Experience analyzing system architectures for security risks

  • Knowledge of industry security standards and best practices

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent English communication (verbal and written)

  • Strong presentation and influencing abilities

  • Ability to manage difficult security conversations

  • Experience advising senior stakeholders

  • Mentoring and coaching capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant security certifications (CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, etc.)

  • Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, etc.)

  • Background in enterprise architecture
