We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Factory Program Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Observes stock levels and anticipate any issues that may arise due to delivery delay etc.
- Manage vendor relations, production delivery, and maintain effective system monitoring for production completion and on time shipping
- Examine documents and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness and accuracy to standards and specifications
- Plans alternate sources parts shortages
- Works directly with receiving, accounting, production, quality control, shipping, vendors
- Maintain POs over the entirety of their life cycle from creation to receipt
- Maintain good relationship with CM’s leadership and assist supply chain strategy execution including but not limited to capacity expansion, quality spills, China+1 plan, business transfer/re-allocation, excess material settlement, host QBR as the owner of the factory
- Regularly visit factories and oversee the new product development status. Host weekly meetings to review the schedules and improvement plan in case there is a delay in deliverables
- Availability to work outside regular hours as necessary
- Assist Purchasing Manager with various tasks and assignments
- Other tasks as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management or relevant field, or five plus years of planning, purchasing or supply chain experience
- Strong sourcing experience in at least one of the commodities - injection molding, package, welded components, cable/harness, electronics (IC/passive/connector/adapter), printed circuit board (PCB)
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- General understanding of the workings of the supply chain and end to end cost ownership
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal business communication in English, Mandarin, and Vietnamese
- Ability to analyze reports
- Working knowledge of Excel, SAP, Arena, Confluence, Jira, Visio
- Ability to travel domestically (15%) and internationally (15%, China mainland or Taiwan)
