POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Finance & Admin Manager, you will deliver comprehensive financial and administrative support to the business. This role is responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, offering strategic and operational financial guidance, and providing counsel on all finance-related matters to help the business achieve its objectives. Additionally, you will oversee administrative functions to ensure the efficient and seamless operation of the office.



CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Finance
  • Develop, manage, analyze, evaluate and interpret actual operating financial results and financial forecasts as well as yearly business plan. In addition, ensure accuracy, consistency and transparency of the financial data and all related information.
  • Advise and counsel on the financial implication of the actions and business decision. Support business initiatives and business process improvement efforts.
  • Ownership of account reconciliation process to maintain financial integrity of general ledger and its supporting sub-ledgers. Assess adequacy of reserves and overall financial reporting, including Balance Sheet Review process.
  • Establish, monitor and maintain a system of internal controls that safeguard company assets and provides an integrity study of all financial transactions and related activities.
  • Ensure all finance responsibilities are defined and communicated throughout the site with specific responsibilities and appropriate timing to meet the required finance standard work.
  • Develop, interpret, implement and monitor policies and procedures, ensure compliance with local and US GAAP, statutory and regulatory requirements as required.
  • Lead any adhoc projects as required including appropriate ERP implementations and system upgrades, business development initiatives such as new business opportunities (and possibly financial review of development contracts and appropriate revenue recognition and project accounting (as applicable).
  • Deep dive of Cost Breakdown, calling out issues on BOM, labor, overhead, consumption, components and others.
  • Work closely with peers in other countries or regions, to ensure global alignment and best practice sharing.

Admin
  • Oversee general administrative functions, including office operations, supplies, and facilities management.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring timely delivery of services and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support HR in administrative aspects, including record-keeping, employee onboarding, and compliance.
  • Assist HR in ensuring that staff recruitment and management practices comply with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Any other issue or matter as may be assigned by superior.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Qualification and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years with 5+ years in management role. Manufacturing and ERP experience preferred.
  • Sound working knowledge of Vietnam Accounting Standard & US GAAP, and local statutory requirements.
  • Technical capability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial and operational data/reports.
  • Superior analytical and thinking skills; Intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability.
  • Understanding of business issues, including foreign currency impacts, local customs duty as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate experience of leading a high performing team.
  • Technology and computer proficiency skills in MS Office.
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing.
