Responsibilities:
- Monitoring day-to-day financial activities, control over budget.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of the sales/procurement procedure (through the construction of quality metrics).
- Participation in audits.
- Coordination with external bookkeeping agency on all questions (payroll, reconciliation, reporting, postings).
- Review of local financial statements (postings, disclosure notes, etc.).
- Cooperation and assistance in finance-related group projects.
- Communication with the country authorities, follow up on the legislation changes and introducing relevant changes.
- Preparation of internal reports based on parent companies request.
- Cooperation with banks, currency regulation, payment process.
- Handling different financial instruments (LC, Factoring, overdrafts).
- Monitoring of Working Capital (payables, receivables, overdues).
- Implementation and management of trade finance instruments - optimization of Company's working capital and provision of risk coverage in accordance with business needs.
- Development of optimal payment routes as part of the general strategy for working with currencies.
- Providing comprehensive support to business and top management on financial issues.
- Structuring transactions, participation in negotiations.
- Professional experience in a large company – at least 5 years; preferably in a multinational company.
- Solid knowledge of accounting rules, IFRS and local GAAP.
- Strong data interpretation and validation skills.
- Excellent Excel, SAP – as an advantage.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent English and Vietnamese
