Position Summary
The Financial Analyst plays a key role in delivering financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position partners closely with the Country Manager to drive improvements in sales performance and gross margin. The role involves proactive financial reporting, business case development, and collaboration on budgeting and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Continuously monitor and evaluate business financial performance.
- Deliver monthly direct sales analysis and identify key improvement drivers for the Country Manager.
- Analyze gross margin by product and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop business cases to support new initiatives or changes in business operations.
- Collaborate with the Group Finance team on annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Support the Regional Finance Manager with ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

- Revenue targets
- Gross margin performance
Commercial Acumen
- Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and prior year.
- Identify and propose opportunities for performance enhancement and cost savings.
- Participate in special projects and provide analytical support as required.

- Return on Investment (ROI)
Business Partnership & Customer Service
- Support business leaders in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.
- Provide financial modeling to support both short-term and long-term business strategies.
- Ensure reporting needs of business units are met through collaboration and expertise sharing.
- Proactively suggest initiatives to improve business outcomes and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and the national language.

- Solid understanding of local banking procedures.
- Experience with internal controls in accounting and administration.
