Position’s mission

We are looking for a flexible and energetic person with both solid and broad financial experience. You will preferably have business mentality and financial experience within a manufacturing company. You are looking for an exciting challenge to positively impact the performance of our company. The role will be based in Hanoi, reporting to the Director of Global Operations and with a dotted line to the Corporate Accounting Manager, both based in Switzerland. This role acts as a key business partner to the Operations team in providing financial insights on current performance in addition to analysis of improvement opportunities. You will be a key member of the team to enhance our future operational and financial performance.

Department /Business Unit: Operations - Supply Chain and Engineering Management

VF working location: Vietnam (travel to Europe 1-2 times a year)

Key Accountabilities

• Financial project management:

o Business mindset to work with Operations leadership and the full operations team as a strategic financial business partner

o Financial co-pilot to develop and model scenarios of an optimised supply chain and manufacturing footprint.

o Prepare and evaluate business cases for future investments and operating models.

o Analyse and propose cost and working capital optimisation projects based on financial benchmarking and assessment of current operational performance

o Gatekeeper to ensure Operations CAPEX proposals have optimum financial return track performance and post implementation evolution.

• Financial performance management

o Develop, maintain, and improve financial reporting and forecasting processes

o Report and lead the periodic review of Operations financial performance

o Partner in the elaboration of saving and waste reduction projects.

o Ensure that savings projects are tracked, and savings accurately reported

o Ensuring compliance with company management and accounting guidelines

• Taking active role in building dashboards and metrics that would help the business identify cost optimization opportunities

• Provide insight and analysis of major costs deviations and identify risks in the Operations cost performance

Key Performance Indicators

• Accuracy of cost to budget performance

• Measurement and assistance in working capital reduction.

• Project analysis and financial review of Strategic projects

• Monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing and reporting

• Accuracy of tax filings and compliance to audit requirements

• Compliance to internal financial and external financial and fiscal require

Who are you?

• You have broad experience working within a Finance function preferably for a manufacturing company.

• You are positive and collaborative and enjoy working within a team

• High level of curiosity and business acumen in Manufacturing and or Supply Chain operations

• You enjoy problem solving ability and exercise good business judgement in a fast-paced autonomous environment.

• You are skilled in cost accounting and financial analysis

• You have a desire to drive change and improve processes

• You can work independently and value flexibility in your managing your time

• You can explain complex subjects to non-finance audiences

• You are comfortable and competent in written and speaking skills

• Excellent business partnering skills

• Attention to detail and analytical and adaptive to fast and continuous changes

• Fluency in Vietnamese and comfortable in English and or French

Education and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification in Finance or Business
