Responsibilities:

Consolidate and assign financial targets and plans of the managed business unit to relevant departments and closely monitor these plans to achieve the unit’s financial objectives. 

  • Provide the Board of Directors with a monthly consolidated financial report for the business category, including comparative analysis of actual results and the planned targets. Highlight the causes of discrepancies and propose solutions for the upcoming month. 

  • Collaborate with departments within the category (including Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Retail, Indirect, etc.) to build monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the category. Monitor and ensure proper execution of the approved budget. 

  • Coordinate and drive departments to identify profit improvement solutions through continuous updates on pricing fluctuation reports from Procurement, changes in production layout, factory investments, and marketing/sales/supply chain/retail directions, as well as product development changes from R&D. Ensure that all such changes align with the overall/specific strategic direction of the category and do not negatively impact its short- and long-term profit objectives. 

Support units in evaluating and proposing new ideas. Provide relevant analyses and assessments for major programs and campaigns, both during and after execution. 

  • Actively engage with relevant departments to propose business initiatives by providing past financial data, financial models of the managed category, brand, or business unit, ensuring that proposals are well-founded and within budget for implementation. 

  • Analyze and evaluate the financial effectiveness of all product launch/relaunch projects, ensuring that financial efficiency is thoroughly reviewed before submission to the Board of Directors. Guide and support relevant departments in developing financial plans and join the team in presenting them to the Board of Directors when required. 

Develop financial control processes related to the category/business unit under financial management. 

  • Assign and cascade category financial targets to implementing departments. Monitor budget spending to ensure compliance with company regulations. 

  • Provide monthly consolidated financial reports of the business unit to the unit head. 

  • Ensure departmental budgets do not exceed the allowed limits. 

Other responsibilities: 

  • Perform other related tasks in line with the spirit of Business Partnering and as assigned by management. 

  • Update and issue necessary procedural documents for the department. 

  • Contribute ideas for the development of the Management Accounting department. 

  • Execute projects as directed by senior leadership from time to time. 

  • Guide and train the successor team. 


Requirements:
Education and Qualifications: 

  • University degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or other related fields. 

  • Solid knowledge of financial management and accounting practices in Vietnam and internationally (as required). 

  • Strong understanding and application of legal regulations, financial principles, and accounting standards. 

Experience: 

  • Over 5 years of experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager or Deputy Manager role, especially in the FMCG industry. 

  • Proven experience in business partnering with departments such as Marketing, Production, R&D, Sales, and Supply Chain, including budget development and defense. 

Skills and Competencies: 

  • Strong leadership capabilities. 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to influence others and drive collaboration. 

  • Proficient in delivering training and coaching to team members. 

  • Experienced in using SAP and building data systems within SAP. 

  • Hands-on experience in developing Business Intelligence (BI) reports related to sales, promotions, and brand building.
