The GD will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s strategic vision in the Industrial real estate sector, with a strong focus on cold storage and warehouse operations. This role oversees the overall performance of the company, including operations, finance, human resources, legal, and business development, to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Operations Management:
- Develop and implement short- and long-term business strategies aligned with the company’s mission and market opportunities.
- Structure and lead an efficient operational model across cold storage and warehousing facilities.
- Manage P&L, oversee budgeting, and ensure financial efficiency and sustainability.
Warehouse & Cold Storage Operations:
- Supervise daily operations of cold storage systems, including temperature control, food safety, inventory accuracy, and quality assurance.
- Optimize warehouse processes including inbound/outbound logistics, stock management, and handling procedures.
- Implement and upgrade warehouse management systems (WMS), automation, and other technologies (e.g. IoT, RFID).
Business Development & Client Management:
- Expand warehouse and cold storage networks, explore M&A opportunities, and establish strategic partnerships.
- Develop service ecosystems targeting sectors like FMCG, agriculture, frozen food, pharmaceuticals, etc.
- Lead key client relationships, contract negotiations, and long-term business engagements.
Human Resources & Organizational Culture:
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing leadership and operational teams.
- Foster a results-oriented and compliance-driven corporate culture.
- Build talent succession plans and drive professional development across the company.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure full compliance with fire safety, food safety, environmental regulations, and cold chain industry standards.
- Proactively manage legal, operational, and financial risks.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in logistics/warehousing/industrial real estate, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior executive role, preferably with deep expertise in cold storage/warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and supply chain systems, especially WMS and cold chain technologies.
- Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and change management capabilities.
- Excellent business acumen, stakeholder communication, and crisis management skills.
- Experience working in mid-to-large scale enterprises with complex warehouse and cold storage networks is highly preferred.
