Role: Executive Director – Head of Collections & Recovery – Banking
About the Client: The largest private bank and financial group in Vietnam.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Develop, optimize the strategies & Oversee bank-wide debt collection operations, including call centers, field visits, skip-tracing, legal recoveries, and collateral sales.
• Develop behavioral collection strategies and provide feedback to improve approaches.
• Optimize cost-of-collection/recovery ratios and motivation systems for different teams.
• Manage end-to-end collections from early to late stages.
• Collaborate with various Divisions, such as Retail, SME, Corporate Business lines, Risk Management, Finance, HR, IT, and Operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and contractual agreements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably a master’s) in Business, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of management experience in debt collections or recoveries.
• Experience managing 500+ full-time employees.
• Strong people management, mentoring, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with collection and telecom software.
• Exposure to PDS, sim-gateways, robotics, and generative AI/ANI.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
