1.Purpose
The job holder planning the overall strategic communication for the bank's internal and external activities(public relations) according to the brand orientation.
The job holder develop a plan to manage, prevent and handle brand risks.
The job holder develop an inspirational communication plan and route to spread the bank's brand value to the public and employees.
The job holder ensure the communication contents to the public and staff are made consistent and accurate with the strategy, brand and core values of the bank.
The job holder manage and implement banking communication plans, activities and content according to the approved functions, tasks and budget.
2. Accountabilities
2.1. Plan a brand-oriented strategic communication
- Develop public relations, manage mass communication channels to the press and effectively implement the bank's proactive communication strategy.
- Build brand position, positioning Techcombank brand in the media.
- Responsible for conveying brand related messages consistently.
- Raise the level of brand recognition, awareness of products, services, financial solutions, ensure the brand's coverage comprehensively on the mass media.
- Act as a bridge between businesses and customers, partners and media units.
- Develop strong relationships with the press to promote the brand and spread the brand's position in the mass media.
- Maintain and develop regular and continuous relationships with media units and influential media experts in the field.
- Manage the implementation of corporate communication campaigns, including measurement, reporting and improvement recommendations.
2.2. Plan and implement media risk management
- Develop a communication risk management plan in the overall corporate communication strategy.
- Quickly and promptly detect arising risks that adversely affect Techcombank's reputation and brand.
- Develop and implement the best solutions to arising situations, minimizing communication risks that may occur.
- Report on media risk management results.
2.3. Management and development of internal communication activities
- Develop and implement a strategic communication plan for the whole line.
- Manage the operation and development of internal communication channels of the bank.
- Organize the production of creative designs in the professional activities of the brand-oriented unit.
- Coordinate in building and organize internal communication programs, connecting all goods according to brand strategy.
- Manage and organize internal events of the whole line.
- Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of internal communication channels, internal communication activities, thereby, propose solutions to improve and improve efficiency.
2.4.Operations and budget management- Develop and manage the unit's operating budget plan.- Management of enterprise communication data information and communication database building activities.
2.5. People Management - Oversee human resources planning and execution (headcount & costs) of their function- Attract, onboard and retain the right talents for a high- performing team- Establish and communicate function and individual KRAs/ KPIs, goals, action plan, expectations and results to reporting line- Manage function performance & provide feedback regularly (following the annual performance management cycle);- Define team’s capability requirements and enable team member’s professional and personal development through capability assessment, training, coaching & feedback, mentoring, etc.- Motivate and recognize team members’ contributions towards the team’s shared goals- Identify and monitor personal, professional development and career advancement of talents in the function- Act as a role model and promote corporate culture at function level- Understand & communicate relevant HR offerings to team members.
2.6. Create an effective working environment
Improve operational efficiency by encouraging and motivating the working spirit of the subordinate team; create a collective working environment where there is always interaction and support for each other, updating information and aiming for long-term cohesion.- Urge, supervise and guiding individuals in the department to fully perform their functions and duties as prescribed.- Solve problems with individuals whose behavior is inconsistent with a spirit of collaboration and respect for diversity.- Implement the plan to improve personal capacity as agreed with the management. Other duties assigned by the Chief.
