HEAD OF DESIGN & STANDARD (D&S)

Department: Design & Standard

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all the activities of D&S department including design & construction, assets standard and wood factory.
  • Optimize and standardize design, construction and materials; propose groundbreaking design solutions.
  • Maximize internal and outsourcing resources to meet the requirements and progress of opening new restaurants nationwide.

DUTIES:

Manage all restaurant design and construction activities

  • In charge of design for new concepts.
  • In charge of design and implementation the shop drawing.
  • Control the shop drawing, construction, find out and provide solutions for problems.
  • Participate in approving designs submitted by branches
  • Connect, manage contractors to deploy design development work, control project technical documents.
  • Author monitoring, participation in construction supervision, acceptance.
  • Proposing solutions for groundbreaking designs, optimization and standardization of designs, constructions and materials in order to save the investment costs, meet the business demand of the restaurant and customers.

Build and implement assets standards

  • Set standards for all restaurant’s assets and equipment.
  • Research and propose the optimal solutions for the restaurant’s assets and equipment.

Manage the operation and performance of the wood factory

  • Manage all production activities of the wood factory to meet internal orders.
  • Manage wooden furniture installation process for entire company’s restaurants.
  • Control the quality, price of wood products; ensure the production progress meets NSO (new-store-opening) plans.

Manage and optimize internal and outsourcing resources

  • Optimize internal resources & process for design & construction.
  • Effectively manage outsourcing resources (if any) to ensure quality and progress as required from business units.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 10 years of experience in designs/ interior construction.
  • Have a deep knowledge and experience in restaurant interior design.
  • Similar experience in F&B companies is a plus.
  • Experience working overseas or having joined international projects is a plus.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects at the same time, ensure to meet the project quality and timing as required.
  • University degree or higher degree, major in architecture/ interior design/construction.
