Position Summary

The Head of Engineering reports to the CIO and leads a team (~5 people) to ensure top performance of core enterprise systems and delivery of high-quality technology services. The role focuses on enterprise architecture, system integration, and deploying digital solutions to drive business growth, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. It also includes people management, process optimization, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Services (35%): Ensure smooth performance of core systems and deliver business/project outcomes.

  • Digital Initiatives (30%): Identify, evaluate, and implement technologies that enhance productivity and business transformation.

  • Team Leadership (20%): Lead, coach, and develop engineering team members to grow their skills and achieve KPIs/OKRs.

  • Continuous Improvement (15%): Analyze processes, drive optimization, and implement innovative solutions for efficiency.

Leadership Competencies

  • Lead by example and communicate effectively.

  • Develop team talent through mentoring and training.

  • Align technology initiatives with business strategy and financial goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in engineering or tech leadership roles.

  • Experience in managing Engineering/Dev teams and agile transformation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft D365 CRM, F&O, Power Platform, APIs, Middleware, Integration, Fullstack BI, and Digital Transformation.

  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT Systems; knowledge of digitalization solutions is a plus.
