- The role focuses on optimizing the balance of cost, availability, sustainability, and partnerships within the Packaging portfolio.
- Overseeing packaging categories with an approximate spend of 600 million Euros.
- Developing the Premium Packaging strategy and expanding the Southeast Asia Packaging hub.
- Leading a team of around 20 procurement professionals across global market locations.
- Develop and manage the material portfolio strategy.
- Ensure the strategy takes advantage of global scale while being tailored to meet the specific needs of Business Groups, including premiumization.
- Align the portfolio strategy with our lighthouse strategy, focusing on value chain optimization, sustainability (plastic ambitions), superior service, and resilience.
- Establish a supplier partnership framework and engagement model to be implemented globally for both current and future portfolios.
- Collaborate with key partners on joint business development plans and manage ongoing relationships.
- Create a multi-year cost savings program for market implementation, optimizing end-to-end chains.
- Develop best-in-class contracting strategies for commercial agreements and utilize global benchmarking to identify commercial opportunities across markets.
- Work closely with senior executives across the organization to ensure procurement strategies are integrated with other business areas and aligned with overall objectives.
- Support the business’s goals and the professional development of direct reports and indirect reports.
- Collaborate with the Commodities Risk Management team to define and implement risk management strategies, identifying and executing physical hedging opportunities, including setting economic assumptions for forecasting.
- Provide accurate and reliable market and portfolio price forecasts.
