Job Purpose:

The Korean BD Director will lead business development initiatives targeting Korean businesses operating in Vietnam and other strategic partnerships. This role combines market expansion, strategic relationship building, and deal closure, playing a critical part in the company’s growth in the B2B rooftop solar space.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Korean business community in Vietnam.

  • Lead outreach to Korean manufacturers, industrial parks, and FDI companies for solar rooftop solutions.

  • Represent the company in Korean-related business forums, events, and associations.

  • Client Management & Sales:

  • Develop tailored proposals for Korean clients, aligning energy solutions with their sustainability goals.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and close deals, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term cooperation.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Korean clients and internal teams (engineering, legal, operations).

  • Strategic Partnerships:

  • Build and maintain relationships with Korean EPCs, investors, and renewable energy partners.

  • Coordinate with Korean HQs or investors for JV, investment, or co-development opportunities.

  • Internal Coordination:

  • Work closely with technical and legal teams to develop bankable PPA agreements.

  • Support post-sale activities to ensure successful project implementation.


    Requirements:

    • Language: Native Korean speaker or fluent in Korean; professional English required.

    • Experience:

    • Minimum 8–10 years in business development, with at least 3 years in renewable energy or infrastructure.

    • Strong network within the Korean business community in Vietnam or Southeast Asia.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. Master’s is a plus.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of B2B sales, solar financing models (CAPEX/OPEX), and rooftop solar regulations in Vietnam.
