Job Summary:
The Land Acquisition Manager will be responsible for securing land for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and other renewable energy installations. This role requires a thorough understanding of the local land acquisition process, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage relationships with landowners, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Land Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for identifying and acquiring land for renewable energy projects in alignment with company goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with landowners, local communities, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Negotiation and Contracts: Lead negotiations with landowners to secure land rights, including leases, easements, and purchases. Prepare and review contracts to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence on potential land acquisitions, including environmental assessments, land use studies, and regulatory compliance checks.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project development, engineering, and legal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of land.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all land acquisition activities comply with local, regional, and national regulations.
- Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, land values, and zoning regulations to inform land acquisition strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on land acquisition progress, challenges, and solutions for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Environmental Science, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate, or project development, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of local land laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and land management software.
- Language: Proficiency in Vietnamese and English, both written and spoken.
