As a Logistics and SCM officer in an industry-leading organization, you will be a team player located in Vietnam, working along with a dynamic team of Sales, technical support, and functional reports to the Vietnam Finance Manager. Together as a team, we optimize, expand, and grow the business.
Key Responsibilities:
a. Logistics:
Plans the design of logistics and transport concepts with the customer in cooperation with logistics process planning, packaging planning, and transport handling to safeguard the delivery process and minimize process costs.
Cooperates with all others involved and with interface partners and passes on all relevant information to keep themselves and others informed and create an optimum logistics chain.
Maintains, updates and communicates relevant information (regarding master data, delivery schedules, stock-and-order status and contract information) from suppliers, procurement, and logistic service providers.
Analyzes operational logistic status, informs involved stakeholders adequately - and derives and implements alternative measures to adapt to changing situations.
Completes and communicates deficiency and status reports regarding material and product availability for Order Management (OM) team.
Documents and processes complaints or transport damages, in cooperation with other accountable stakeholders (OM, Purchase, Insurance, Controlling, Quality, Engineering), and proposes and implements remedial measures with transport service providers.
Coordinates return of logistic infrastructure and on-site equipment used, in support of OM, and steers respective logistics operations with service providers.
Supports OM in developing, calculating, and implementing logistic contingency measures.
Supports OM in concluding of project evaluation and advancement of the project-specific process of customer supply.
Monitoring compliance with import/export processes and ensuring that processes comply with customs regulations.
b. SCM Operation:
Performing Supply Chain Management as required by company guidelines/regulations to look for qualified Supplier
SCM reporting all SCM KPIs regularly and/or on an ad-hoc basis; assessing vendor qualifications and annual evaluation.
Supplier development & Development of procurement strategies: frequently update knowledge on the market for sourcing potential suppliers, develop preferred vendor list with added value BU/projects, perform quality checks & evaluations of suppliers, develop and maintaining suppliers' relationships.
Participating in Global/Regional tendering for pooling demands: Negotiating with suppliers at the country level for Local Adoption Agreements, Frame Agreements with preferred Suppliers, and updating new guidelines and processes.
Other tasks required by the Manager.
Requirement
3~4 years of experience in procurement, commercial and logistics background
Understanding customs law and regulation
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Fluent in English communication.
