The Logistics Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient handling of goods in the warehouse, and maintaining smooth logistics operations. He/she will be responsible for all the material control activities in the site, including scheduling, inventory control, shipping and receiving.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Order Fulfilment and Inventory Control
- Analyze customer demand data and make master plan on a regular basis.
- In charge of the scheduling and ensures that material planning is made timely in line with the customer orders/ forecast; delivery orders are released based on the customer demand and lead time so as to guarantee all shipments to customers are made on time with the required quantity and quality.
- Implement and monitor inventory control processes to minimize discrepancies.
- Manage stock replenishment to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Warehouse Management:
- Oversee the warehouse processes to foresee and eliminate the delivery arrears in cooperation with other sites.
- In charge of warehouse management including goods receiving, material issuing, finish goods booking, store keeping, dispatching and inventory monitoring.
- Ensure proper stock management, including inventory accuracy and regular stock counts.
- Monitor warehouse layout and optimize space utilization.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the warehouse.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation and delivery schedules.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers or designated locations.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, and suppliers to resolve issues.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and warehouse activities.
- Prepare and submit logistics-related reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for shipping and storage.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 – 5 years’ of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- Skills:
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
